No one is justified by the Law of God because no one – because of sin – can keep the law. Every living being has broken the law of God, but thank God for His law that opens our eyes to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith.

I Have Heard of God

Hope and Faith

Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.

God gave the law to make us aware that we are sinners. No one person can keep the law for we are sinners by nature. Awareness of our inability to keep the law opens our eyes to the need we have for salvation, found only in Jesus. We must come before God and repent, confess our sin and turn to God in faith. God is where our hope is found.
