Philippians 3:1

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.
Philippians 3:1 NASB

THE Holy God of all wisdom and knowledge, to You I give praise unto Your name! In You I shall rejoice.
Even in the sacrifice and service of my faith I rejoice. Safeguard Your people Lord and may we never get tired of hearing Your repeated word. I pray we rejoice and share our joy with one another as we work together in the fulfillment of Your word. My Peace. My Joy. My Safeguard. In Your name pray. Amen.
Philippians 2:17‭-‬18 NASB

🌹Your word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against You.

Philippians 2:17-18

Philippians 2:17-18

But even if I am being poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all. You too, I urge you, rejoice in the same way and share your joy with me.
Philippians 2:17‭-‬18 NASB

God of my joy, I pray Your joy overflows to others through me so we may rejoice together in the service of our faith.
Lord, I pray asking for a heart that will most gladly spend and be expended for the sake of the souls of others so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to Your glory, God! Therefore, Lord, I ask that I will not lose heart at my tribulations on behalf of others, for they are Your glory. In Jesus name, amen.
Corinthians 12:25a/2 Corinthians 4:15/Ephesians 3:13 NASB

Philippians 1:7-8

For it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart, since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace with me. For God is my witness, how I long for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.
Philippians 1:7‭-‬8 NASB

God, the Holy King of Your Church, the body of Christ. I praise You with a thankful heart for Your children in whom my heart is blessed, filled up, full of joy as we are fellow partakers of Your glorious grace. For I long to impart some spiritual gift to them, that they may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with them while among them, each of us by the other’s faith, both theirs and mine.
Help me to always be ready to remind them of Your grace, abounding love, and to be established in the truth which is already present with them and they already know and has been established and is present with them. God, through You, it is my request as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, my body, to stir up fellow partakers of Your grace by reminding them of this great gift of the gospel. May I in turn also be reminded by my dear brothers and sisters. May the words I speak not be condemning, Lord, as we live and die together for Your kingdom sake. For I am Your ambassador, my King, who if in chains, I pray I would still speak boldly, as I ought to speak. In Jesus name and for His glory, amen.
2 Peter 1:12‭-‬13/Romans 1:11‭-‬12/2 Corinthians 7:3/Ephesians 6:20 NASB

🌹For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:26 NASB

Attention to the Word – Part 1

He who gives attention to the word will find good,
Proverbs 16:20a NASB

The Bible is the word of God, the story of Jesus Christ. The Word is a person. Jesus Christ.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:1 NASB

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14 NASB

How much attention do you give to the Word? The word of God? It is impossible to know God intimately without reading the Bible, God’s word.

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Romans 10:17 NASB

The word of Christ. The Word who brings forgiveness, salvation, life and so much more.

🌹O taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
Psalms 34:8 NASB

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within me, with all wisdom. I will read Your word, teaching and admonishing others in the faith with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs. I will sing with thankfulness in my heart to You, my God. (Colossians 3:16 NASB)
This I pray in the name of Jesus,  amen.

Faithful to be Helpful

Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
Romans 15:1‭-‬2 NASB

We all have strong characteristics and we all have weak characteristics. That is the marvelous blessing of the church. Together, where we are weak, we are strong. None of us are perfect but together we can uphold, edify one another, bringing glory to God in His church.

🌹Taking our eyes off of ourselves and looking to what is good for others will change the dynamics of a church and bring glory to God.

Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not for the purpose of passing judgment on his opinions.
Romans 14:1 NASB

Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Galatians 6:2‭-‬3 NASB

Let no one seek his own good, but that of his neighbor.
1 Corinthians 10:24 NASB

for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

Testimony of Trust

Blessed be the Lord, Because He has heard the voice of my supplication. The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, And with my song I shall thank Him.
Psalms 28:6‭-‬7 NASB

Who do you turn to when life becomes overwhelming? In whom do you trust with all the pieces of your life – the good, the bad, the ugly, the disappointments, the struggles, the highs, the lows? Has He heard the voice of your supplication because you cried out to Him? If you do, He will help you. Your heart will exult your God and you can’t help but to thank Him.

But You, O Lord, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.
Psalms 3:3 NASB

🌹He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the Lord.
Psalms 40:3 NASB

Return Faithless Ones

A voice is heard on the bare heights, The weeping and the supplications of the sons of Israel; Because they have perverted their way, They have forgotten the Lord their God.

“Return, O faithless sons, I will heal your faithlessness.” “Behold, we come to You; For You are the Lord our God.

Let us lie down in our shame, and let our humiliation cover us; for we have sinned against the Lord our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day. And we have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God.”
Jeremiah 3:21‭-‬22‭, ‬25

They have lied about the Lord And said, “Not He; Misfortune will not come on us, And we will not see sword or famine. The prophets are as wind, And the word is not in them. Thus it will be done to them!” Therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, “Because you have spoken this word, Behold, I am making My words in your mouth fire And this people wood, and it will consume them.
Jeremiah 5:12‭-‬14 NASB

Take the word of God to heart. As is the Old Testament so is today. We are to learn from history. God is righteous, holy, perfect and without Him we are nothing.

Have you forgotten the Lord your God? God is waiting to heal your faithlessness. Lie down in shame, let humiliation cover you; for the sin you have sinned against the Lord your God.

🌹 God, I humbly bow before You in shame for my disregard of Your way, neglecting Your Word, Your presence in my life, and being disobedient. Forgive my disobedience to Your voice, the voice of the Lord my God. Heal my faithlessness. Amen

Dead or Alive

I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
Galatians 2:20 NASB

knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin; for the one who has died is freed from sin.
Romans 6:6‭-‬7 NASB

Now those who belong to Christ Jesus crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Galatians 5:24 NASB

But far be it from me to boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Galatians 6:14 NASB

🌹 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.
Romans 8:10‭ NASB

Are you living in freedom from sin or are you still walking in the flesh with its passions and desires? Do you look like the world around you or like Christ?

Walking in the Light of Life

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who wait for His faithfulness,
To rescue their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine.
Psalms 33:18-19 NASB

The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, And His ears are toward their cry for help.
Psalms 34:15 NASB

For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will glorify the lowly with salvation.
Psalms 149:4 NASB

The Lord favors those who fear Him, Those who wait for His faithfulness.
Psalms 147:11 NASB

For You have saved my soul from death,  Indeed (have You not delivered) my feet from stumbling, So that I may walk before God In the light of the living (or life).
Psalms 56:13 NASB

🌹Oh the blessings of waiting for God’s faithfulness.

Steadfast Faith

So have I become your enemy by telling you the truth?
Galatians 4:16 NASB

They hate him who reproves in the gate, And they abhor him who speaks with integrity.
Amos 5:10 NASB

Speaking truth in a world bent on lies and deceit is a difficult task but walking in truth and in the steadfast faithfulness of God we will overcome.

If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.
John 15:19 NASB

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
1 John 5:4 NASB

Hate evil, love good, And establish justice in the gate! Perhaps the Lord God of hosts May be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.
Amos 5:15 NASB

🌹May your steadfast faith keep you speaking boldly the truth of Christ to a dying world. Living in the Truth, you can be used to change the world.

God grant us, Your remnant, grace to overcome. Amen.
