Humbled Grace
But to me it is a very small thing that I may be examined by you, or by any human court; in fact, I do not even examine myself.
For I am conscious of nothing against myself, yet I am not by this acquitted; but the one who examines me is the Lord.

“Adorn yourself with eminence and dignity, And clothe yourself with honor and majesty.
Pour out the overflowings of your anger, And look on everyone who is proud, and make him low.
Look on everyone who is proud, and humble him, And tread down the wicked where they stand.
Hide them in the dust together; Bind them in the hidden place.

What Is That To You?
Jesus *said to him, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow Me!”
John 21:22 NASB
I must confess, it is very easy to look at another person and judge their ministry and/or intentions when it is not our concern how God uses others in His planned will.
Jesus is talking with Peter about his coming ministry for Christ and Peter sees John and asks, “Lord, and what about this man?” What was Jesus’s reply? “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”
We are not to be concerned about what God’s plan is for other believers, but follow Jesus faithfully in His plan for us.
Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from God.
1 Corinthians 4:5 NASB
What should our individual concern be?
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.

Follow Jesus. He is the way, the truth, the life. Keep our eyes focused on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.

1 John 4:16-17
We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for (in) us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.
1 John 4:16-17 NASB
Jesus, Holy One of God, through Your love in me, I have come to know and believe the love You have for me. God, You are love. My desire is to abide in You, so I ask for wisdom in the keeping of Your word, wherein Your love is truly perfected. With Your perfect love abiding in me I pray that I may have confidence in the day of judgment. I pray my actions reflect Your abiding love in me as I strive to walk in the same manner as Jesus walked. Thank You Father God for Your Son Jesus and the glory given Him. Through Jesus Your glory is given to Your people that they may be one, just as You and Your Son are one. May Your abiding love reflect through me to a world in need of the Light of Jesus Christ to Your perfect glory in whose name I pray, amen.
