Pure in Heart

‭“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Is seeing God a desire for you, believer; to see God face to face one day? The day we pass from this world to heaven isn’t the beginning of our seeing God. God is visible in the changed heart of a sinner. He is visible in the sanctifying change in believers. He is visible in answered prayers. He is visible to the pure in heart.

How can a young man (person) keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word.

The Word of God. Reading it, meditating on it, obeying it, applying it. This is beneficial to a pure heart and enlightened eyes.

Prayer is also beneficial for a pure heart. To seek forgiveness, to talk with God about everything. To be thankful for revealing Himself in answered prayers and rejoicingin Him.

Hope and Faith

God gave the law to make us aware that we are sinners. No one person can keep the law for we are sinners by nature. Awareness of our inability to keep the law opens our eyes to the need we have for salvation, found only in Jesus. We must come before God and repent, confess our sin and turn to God in faith. A Child Will Be Born

Isaiah, a prophet of the Old Testament, spoke of a coming child. A child who would be born, but not just any child. . .

It was even revealed to Isaiah the geneology of this child and what attributes this child would have.
