Shine Jesus shine
Fill this land with the Father’s glory
Blaze, Spirit blaze,
Set our hearts on fire
Flow, river flow
Flood the nations with grace and mercy

but indeed, as I live, all the earth will be filled with the glory of the Lord. — Numbers 14:31

The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed. — Exodus 3:2

And to the eyes of the sons of Israel the appearance of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on the mountain top. — Exodus 24:17

and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. — Romans 5:5

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. — Romans 15:13

You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. –Acts 10:38

And we are witnesses of these things; and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey Him.” Acts 5:32

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, — Matthew 28:19

For thus says the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, “I dwell on a high and holy place, And also with the contrite and lowly of spirit In order to revive the spirit of the lowly And to revive the heart of the contrite. — Isaiah 57:15

Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear. — Matthew 13:43

Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. — Hebrews 4:16

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, — Jude 24

‘You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of gladness with Your presence.’ — Acts 2:28

And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, — Hebrews 1:3

So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. — John 6:53-56

Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts — Psalm 139:23

Examine me, O Lord, and try me; Test my mind and my heart. — Psalm 26:2

For You light my lamp; The Lord my God illumines my darkness. — Psalm 18:28

to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’ — Acts 26:18

This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. — 1 John 1:5-7

Praise Jesus! My all! My everything!

Seek While You Can Find

 Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. — Isaiah 55:6-7

Now is “the day of salvation”. Seek the Lord while He can be found. One day in your life the time will come when the decision whether to have a relationship with Jesus Christ will be made for you. What could have been your freewill acceptance of Jesus will actually be your freewill rejection of Him.

So turn to Him now, seek Him while He can be found. He is calling to everyone from one end of the earth to the other. Know that He is God and there is no other. Call to Him and He will hear you, cry to Him and He will say, ‘Here I am.’. Jesus will help us when we decide to wash ourselves, make ourselves clean; remove the evil of our deeds from His sight and cease to do evil.

Then, O glorious day, our Lord God will wipe out our transgressions and remember our sins no more. For some of us that day has already been realized. We now walk in the brilliant light and trust of the Lord Jesus, standing firm with endurance even if the mountains may be removed and the hills shake knowing His lovingkindness will not be removed from us and His covenant of peace will not be shaken because the Lord has compassion on us. Hallelujah!!!

“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, But My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, And My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” Says the Lord who has compassion on you. — Isaiah 54:10

 

The Best Friend Ever – Part 4

For the Lord your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them. — Deuteronomy 4:31

The best friend ever is compassionate. Compassionate means showing mercy and being sympathetic. How wonderful to have a friend who can sympathize with you. Jesus lived on earth as a man so He could relate to human experiences. What an awesome God who was willing to leave His throne to come to earth so He could relate to us. He is all about relationships, especially with us.

He is a friend we can share any part of our life with and He understands. Anything! What a blessing. And when we share our faults and failures He has mercy on us. He is not a friend who takes your confidential information and uses it to destroy you. He will not fail you. Could we ask for a better friend?

Jesus is our compassionate friend. Come to Him for the best friend you’ll ever have. He is waiting to have a relationship with you, to help you be the best you can be, a new person beyond your imagination. Seek my Friend. He is worth it.
