Tablet of Your Heart

Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield.
For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name.
Let Your lovingkindness, O Lord, be upon us, According as we have hoped in You.
Psalms 33:21-‬22 NASB

Scripture is a great place to learn to pray. God’s timeless word that expands many generations. God’s words spoken back to Him from the mouth of His children.

Personalizing God’s word back to Him, the One who wrote it, is a good way to “write it on the tablet of your heart”.

Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.
Proverbs 3:13 NASB

🌹Prayer: My soul waits for You, Lord; You are my help and my shield. My heart rejoices in You, God, because I trust in Your holy name. Let Your lovingkindness, O Lord, be upon me, according as I have hoped in You.

In Your holy name I pray, amen.

Have a blessed day in the Lord.

God is Watching

The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men;
From His dwelling place He looks out On all the inhabitants of the earth,
He who fashions the hearts (their heart together) of them all, He who understands all their works.
Psalms 33:13‭-‬15 NASB

The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men To see if there are any who understand, Who seek after God.
Psalms 14:2 NASB

🌹Are you seeking God?

Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually.
Psalms 105:4 NASB

One Purpose, One Voice

Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another, according to Christ Jesus, so that with one purpose and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Romans 15:5‭-‬6

🌹God of encouragement and perseverance,  grant Your church the mind of Christ that we would glorify You unified in purpose. May our voices rise together to glorify You Father through Your Son, our righteousness.  Amen

Counsel

Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing?  The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord and against His Anointed,”
Psalms 2:1‭-‬2 NASB

The Lord nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples.

The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.
Psalms 33:10-‬12 NASB

🌹With whose counsel* do you stand?

Lord may our hearts always seek Your counsel over any other and the plans of Your heart. Amen

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon

*counsel: advice; opinion or instruction given in directing the judgment or conduct of another.

He Spoke

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deeps in storehouses.  Let all the earth fear the Lord;
Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
Psalms 33:6‭-‬9 NASB

🌹By His word, one breath. . . Do you stand in awe and shear reverence of God? He spoke. . . Done. His commands stand still today.

God, today may we stand in awe of You and the brilliant God You are. To You be the glory for the things You have done! Praise You for the things You are still doing!

For the word of the Lord is upright, And all His work is done in faithfulness.

Jesus in You

And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.
Psalms 71:18 NASB

We are needed now more than ever to stand on the truth of God and spread the power of God to all, to declare His strength to this generation!

Let this be our banner cry:

We will not conceal them from their children, But tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wondrous works that He has done.

That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born,
That they may arise and tell them to their children,

That they should put their confidence in God And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments,
Psalms 78:4‭, ‬6‭-‬7 NASB

🌹Where is your confidence? Do others see and know who your confidence is in? Do others see and hear Jesus in you?

🎶 Let others see Jesus in you,
Let others see Jesus in you.
Keep telling the story, be faithful and true;
Let others see Jesus in you.

Then live for Christ both day and night,
Be faithful, be brave and true,
and lead the lost to life and Christ.
Let others see Jesus in you.

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon
