Sing

Sing for joy in the Lord, O you righteous ones; Praise is becoming to the upright. Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre; Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.
Psalms 33:1-2 NASB

Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
For the word of the Lord is upright, And all His work is done in faithfulness.
Psalms 33:3‭-‬4 NASB

🌹He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord .
Psalms 33:5 NASB

Sing with a grateful heart for the joy of the Lord today.

Jesus in You

And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.
Psalms 71:18 NASB

We are needed now more than ever to stand on the truth of God and spread the power of God to all, to declare His strength to this generation!

Let this be our banner cry:

We will not conceal them from their children, But tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wondrous works that He has done.

That the generation to come might know, even the children yet to be born,
That they may arise and tell them to their children,

That they should put their confidence in God And not forget the works of God, But keep His commandments,
Psalms 78:4‭, ‬6‭-‬7 NASB

🌹Where is your confidence? Do others see and know who your confidence is in? Do others see and hear Jesus in you?

🎶 Let others see Jesus in you,
Let others see Jesus in you.
Keep telling the story, be faithful and true;
Let others see Jesus in you.

Then live for Christ both day and night,
Be faithful, be brave and true,
and lead the lost to life and Christ.
Let others see Jesus in you.

Sharon

An Upright Heart Gives Thanks

I shall give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.
I shall keep Your statutes; Do not forsake me utterly!
Psalms 119:7‭-‬8 NASB

What effect does God’s word have on us as we learn His righteous judgements and keep His statues? We give thanks to God from an upright heart!
So read His word, the Bible. Know His statutes and seek to keep them.

🌹Lord do not forsake us as we seek to learn and know Your righteous word and You.

Continually Seeking Him,

The Rock

The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Planted in the house of the Lord, They will flourish in the courts of our God.

They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green,

To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
Psalms 92:12‭-‬15 NASB

The righteous man, planted in the house of the Lord, will bear fruit, even in old age, and proclaim that the Lord is upright and righteous.

🌹 Is He your rock in whom there is no unrighteousness?

Abide in My Love

Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.
John 15:9 NASB

How do we abide in His love?

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.
John 15:10 NASB

🌹To know His commandments, you must read His word. To do as Jesus did, you must read the word. Are you reading the Holy Bible under the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit?

Keep the Word

Oh that my ways may be established (steadfast) To keep (obey)Your statutes (decrees, laws)!  Then I shall not be ashamed When I look upon all Your commandments.
Psalms 119:5‭-‬6 NASB

How do we obey God’s statutes? When we know His commandments and keep them. How do we know them? You must open the word of God and read. Open the word of God and know. Then we obey them.

🌹 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him.  He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
John 14:23‭-‬24 NASB

Blessed?

How blessed are those whose way is blameless (complete; or having integrity), Who walk in the law of the Lord.
How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, Who seek Him with all their heart.
Psalms 119:1‭-‬2 NASB
Are you blessed?

They also do no unrighteousness; They walk in His ways.
You have ordained Your precepts, That we should keep them diligently.
Psalms 119:3-‬4 NASB

🌹Seek God with all your heart, walk blamelessly in His ways, the law and testimonies of His word. Know God’s word so you may diligently keep His word and be blessed.

God’s Faithfulness And Salvation

“I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation; Behold, I will not restrain my lips, O Lord, You know. I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation.”
Psalms 40:9‭-‬10 NASB

“not hidden Your righteousness”:
David spoke of God’s righteousness. He did not hide it in his heart, he proclaimed it. Paul proclaimed also speaking to the elders in Ephesus.
“how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you publicly and from house to house,”
“For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.”
Acts 20:20‭, ‬27 NASB

“I have spoken of Your faithfulness and salvation”

“I will sing of the lovingkindness of the Lord forever; To all generations I will make known Your faithfulness with my mouth.”
Psalms 89:1 NASB

🌹 Are you proclaiming the righteousness and faithfulness of God to the church and all generations? Is His salvation that has been given to you, motivate you to tell others?

We are able by the power of God within us.

“You, O Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me.”
Psalms 40:11 NASB

“O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places.”
Psalms 43:3 NASB

God Speaks

Now when Moses went into the tent of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim, so He spoke to him.
Numbers 7:89 NASB

🌹God speaks. Do you meet with Him? Do you desire to hear from Him? Do you hear Him speak?

Pray: God Go With Us

Now therefore, I pray You, if I have found favor in Your sight, let me know Your ways that I may know You, so that I may find favor in Your sight. Consider too, that this nation is Your people.”
And He said, “My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.”
Exodus 33:13‭-‬14 NASB

🌹For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not by Your going with us, so that we, I and Your people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are upon the face of the earth?”
Exodus 33:16 NASB

Does God go with you? Is He going with your nation? Are you distinguished amongst the crowds because Jesus is in you?

Continually Seeking Him,

Sharon
